Indications: Can’t laugh at yourself; Taking life too seriously, sadness.
Additional Indications: A gloomy outlook, illness that saps strength and humor,
inability to see humor in life, desire for more of the good feeling that comes with
laughter, desire for that youthful, playful quality of life, unhappiness.

The universe delights in laughter and ripples of it can be felt to the farthest edges
of creation.
Contrary to the beliefs of some, suffering is not a constant companion to life, nor
is it crucial to one’s success or well-being, and there is no aspect of the Divine
that rejoices in it. Quite the opposite. The Divine rejoices in our ability to accept
happiness in our lives.
Most of us have walked into a home where laughter is foreign. Does it make you feel
good? Does it make you want to stay? No. But walking into a home with giggling children
or the home of those who live with laughter as a natural part of their lives is warm
and welcoming.
Laughter has a beneficial effect on the universe and on each of us as individuals.
Years ago Norman Cousins wrote of his experience with serious illness. His self-treatment
was to watch hour after hour of old, funny movies, TV shows and reading funny books.
He found that laughter had great healing power as his health improved, enough to
write a book on the subject. In fact he felt his cure came about because of the laughter
he let into his life.
Thoughts are extremely powerful and gloomy thoughts can create gloominess throughout
the whole body, which in turn creates illness, while cheerful thoughts uplift the
spirit, and the body responds by feeling better.
Too many of us subdue happy feelings, letting ups and downs of daily life get to
us. Taking life too seriously can wipe out our senses of humor, but those who retain
the ability to laugh, even at ourselves, find life becomes easier. We want to culture
the habit in our lives, bringing that outward expression of happiness out so that
it infects others with good cheer. But how do you get more laugher in your life?
We want to clear the channels so that laughter can bubble up freely, and we want
to look in the right direction. Looking one way, we don’t see the humor, but with
a slight change of angle, the humor comes into view.

We recommend you take this Therapy for the full six weeks. What you are doing is
similar to forming a new habit. I have read that it takes thirty days to form a new
habit. You want to allow time to break the old habit, form the new, of laughter,
and allow things to stabilize.
If you miss one of your six daily dosages, don’t worry. Once you begin taking this
Therapy, the Divine is at work, organizing for your highest good. Perhaps your system
needed a small break in the Therapy. Simply have the intention to take six daily
doses for six weeks, do your best, and relax. Your comfort is important to us.
Note: Often the full effect of the Therapy is not felt until several weeks or more
