Indications: Living in the past or future, inability to enjoy the gift of the
present. A definition of now is “peace.”
Additional Indications: Constantly thinking of how you wish it to be in the future,
daydreaming about it, planning for the future but never taking time in the present
to carry out those plans, thinking of how you wish the past could be changed, or
reliving memories of good times to the point where you pay little attention to what's
happening now.
Instructions: Take two drops in a small amount of water six times a day every day
for six weeks.
There are so many charming thoughts that can keep out mind off of what’s happening
now. There are thoughts of the party we attended last week, thoughts of the delightful
week we had with friends last year, or thoughts of a particular time in our lives
when we felt happy. Then there are thoughts of the party scheduled for next week
-- what will you wear, what will you say, how will you shine? -- the thoughts of
what you will do and how you will live when you’ve made your fortune, and thoughts
of fulfillment ahead when you’ve achieved what you set out to do.
It’s so easy to get caught up in thoughts of the past or future that what’s happening
now is only incidental that doesn’t take your attention. But, wait a minute. What
are you missing? One way you look at it the past and future make up most of your
life and the present passes very quickly. Another way to look at it is that the present,
now, happens every moment of your life. Living in the Now is something to strive
for.
There is nothing wrong with thoughts of the past, and certainly nothing wrong with
planning for and anticipating the future, but when that take most of your time and
attention, balance is lost.
Think of it as a teeter totter. Two kids are on the see saw, one representing the
past, the other the future. The pivotal center point, the present, holds both up.
When you think of the past, one child goes down, and when you think of the future,
the other does. When you are constantly thinking of the past, reliving it, it becomes
a strain on the present, not to mention uncomfortable since the kid representing
the future is kicking his legs trying to get down. And the same holds true if you
spend most of your time living in your fantasy of what you think the future will
be like.
What you want in your life is balance. Living in the now, with occasional thoughts
of the past and making plans for the future. No plans for the future will come to
fruition if you do nothing in the now to bring them about.
Balance is easier to say than to achieve if you are working from a surface level
to curb thoughts of either the past or future. The mind naturally gravitates toward
the most charming thoughts and to try to force your mind to think the present is
more charming when it knows from experience that’s not the case, can be tremendous
work, and frustrating.
Charming, of course, is in the eye of the beholder. When you work on your inner vision,
balance becomes easier. When you focus a camera, you’ll find the central point where
the picture is perfectly clear, and parts around diminish in clarity as the picture
goes out to the edges. Now your inner vision may see the past very clearly, or the
future, but the present is blurred. What we want to do it bring the vision of the
present into focus, and allow the past and future to fade in clarity. When vision
of the present becomes more clear it is easy to appreciate it and realize that it,
too, is charming.
I don’t mean you’ll no longer remember the past clearly, or you can’t visualize the
future well. I mean your mind’s attention will focus on the present rather than past
or future.
This Therapy works on the level of consciousness to refine and re-focus our inner
vision so that is what captures our attention. Because it works on such a refined
level, it goes beyond the surface of the mind, beyond conscious decisions about what
to think, and goes to the level before thoughts arise. Working on that level it becomes
easier to shift the focus to now.
Some will experience results very quickly, others may not for eight weeks or more.
We recommend you take the Therapy for the full six weeks. Even after you’ve finished
your course of treatment changes set in motion continue until they are complete.
It’s similar to forming a new habit in your system. It takes the full six weeks to
break old habit, form new ones and to allow time for things to stabilize.
If you miss a daily dose, try to make it up. If you can’t, don’t worry. This is a
Divine Therapy and when you begin Nature organizes for your highest good. Simply
have the intention to take your Therapy six times a day for six weeks (commitment
is important), do your best, and relax.
You may take this Therapy with or without food, whatever is convenient, and you may
take it with any medication or treatment you choose. There are no side effects. You
may take it along with one or two other Grace Healing Arts Divine Therapies. We suggest
that you start with one exclusively for three days before beginning the second one
and wait an additional four days before starting the third.
This Therapy was made with light, love, and joy through the Grace of God.
